With a degree in fashion marketing, Amy has a knack for styling almost any pair of eyeglasses and making them the standout piece. When asked what inspires her personal sense of style the most, Amy notes that “the 1960s inspire me the most, the clothes, the attitude, the colors, the music. I have an obsession with eyeglasses. I love the way they make me feel and the way they make me look. But overall I am basically a big huge nerd, a nerd for fashion.”

I applied to become a style ambassador because: I love Coastal.com eyeglasses and always have. I always wear Coastal.com eyewear.
I chose this pair of glasses for my style ambassador starter kit because: They are so vintage and have that cat eye look. I love the deep tortoise shell color. These are very 60s and very much my style.
My glasses collection consists of ___ pairs of frames: 17
My favorite fashion trend of the moment is: Knee high & over the knee boots.
If I could be stuck in an elevator with anyone, it would be: My boyfriend Ben of course, he’s the one I always want to be with all the time.
I would describe my personal style as: Quirky, fun, electric, vintage, 60s, and a little 70s. Very unpredictable.
My go-to drink at Starbucks is: Well I love to support smaller coffee businesses rather than go to Starbucks but if I had to go to Starbucks I would order the Peppermint Vanilla Latte with whip cream.
Glasses are an amazing accessory because: They really put together an outfit and make it fun. Accessories always put together an outfit.
The best way to organize a closet is: Drink a coffee and get started! Make sure you have places to put stuff.
A tip on picking out the perfect pair of frames is: Looking at what will fit your style and your face shape best. Face shape and glasses are very important.
My current style muse is: Alexa Chung of course.
My favorite online source for style inspiration is: Lookbook.nu or Chictopia or Tumblr or looking on Instagram at bloggers pages.
Some favorite boutiques in my area are: Mainly Crossroads probably which isn’t really a boutique. I normally shop online.
A social media platform or app that I can’t get enough of is: Instagram but keep in touch because I may just have something up my sleeve in the works.
My favorite fashion blogger is: My friend Natalie of Natalie Off Duty.
Buying the same piece of clothing in multiple colors, yay or nay? YAY I say why not. I do this with denim and shoes.
Favorite city to go shopping is: San Francisco HANDS DOWN all the way! Haight St. is my all time favorite place to go and find vintage pieces. I also have some amazing vintage gems in the Los Angeles area that no one knows about.
