World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness to focus global attention on blindness, visual impairment and rehabilitation of the visually impaired.
Did you know?
- 1 in 3 children suffer from uncorrected poor vision
- 1 in 5 drivers can't see the road clearly
- 3 in 4 people suffer from tired eyes
- 1 in 3 people can't see the world clearly
Are you one of them?
2.5 billion people live globally with vision problems and can’t afford optical solutions. To raise awareness of the need for worldwide sight correction, Clearly commissioned a mural from artists Sandy and Steve Pell. The two created a beautiful optical illusion art installation in Clearly’s home town of Vancouver, Canada. We hope the Clearly mural helps to spark conversation and raises public awareness surrounding vision impairment as a major international public health issue.
