I have been wearing contacts since I was 13 years old - I'm now 35. While I've never worn hard lenses, I have had my fair share of soft lenses that had to be removed every night. Let's face it, when you have 2 busy children and work a full time job, the last thing you have time for in the morning is trying to put in your contacts. I change mine at the beginning of each month and I love it. I no longer have to fumble my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night!

I've liked optix Focus contacts and I know these are the newer line, but for some reason when I was pulling them out after only 3 hours of use, my eyes were stinging like crazy. They were also very uncomfortable from the get go and dried up my eyes up. I tried putting in drops prior to pulling out the contacts, but it didn't seem to moisten the contact enough, which most likely caused the stinging when pulling out the contacts. I would not pick these up or recommend to anyone.

Comments about Air Optix Night & Day Aqua:
Went to these after several years of using the Air Optix Aqua. I have tried two pair out of 4 boxes and I will be calling for a return in the morning. They are ok for the first 8 hours of wear but soon become dry and irritated, itchy. I work in the ICU and cant go around rubbing my eyes all day. I would be exposing myself to all sorts of potential infections. Thought it was allergies messing with the first pair but I guess not. VERY DISSATISFIED!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Best lense ever!

If you do not wear Night and Days (Unless you have astigmatism) you are dumb. These are the most comfortable lenses I have ever worn, and you can sleep in them! It is like you are not even wearing contacts. Do not understand the bad reviews. Either get lasic, or wear these!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
a waste of my money
from RHODE ISLAND
My first purchase of Air Optix Nignt/Day were fine- very comfortable. Every order since then has had issues. They can fog up within days of insertion and they can travel from where they should be- which is a real trial trying to retrieve them. I put up with them but this last order has me seeing red. The new contact lens( only a .50+) does not work! Or else my vision change overnight. I thought perhaps the first lens I tried was defective but I had the same problem with another fresh one. Now I am stuck wearing OTC glasses in combination with the inserted lens.I give up. The Night & Day version is a waste of money unless you don't mind putting up with all the defects.

Switch from Proclear dailies to these and have regretted every second of it. i wore these for 2 weeks straight without problems. after that it was nothing but dry eyes, discomfort, and irratation. These are not very good contact lenses and I would not recommend these to anyone. I've tried many different brands and types of lenses and these are dead last in terms of satisfaction. Go with dailies if you can afford them.

Amazing...but not at first.
from Rochester, NY
Long story short: Use them as dailies at first. When I first put them in they were unbearable - very very uncomfortable. I found that if you take them out and wash them every night for around a week, it makes it a little easier. Eventually they were fine and actually I think it was just my eyes getting used to them. Now I only wash if it's irritable which is maybe 1 night max.The other thing I found, because I like to stretch my lenses, is that these lenses really tell you when it's time to change. You will notice almost immediately and sometimes that's 1 month, sometimes it is 6 weeks.Otherwise, these lenses are great. It's like LASIK only...not.

One con for many Pros, you decide

These were the first pair of contacts I could wear without major irritation to my eyes. I really like that I can fall asleep in them - and it actually turns out very useful, because, unfortunately, taking them out and putting them in can cause tears on the edges rather easily. Beyond that one con, I love them. I can completely forget I'm wearing them and even forget I have sight issues, until it's time to switch to next month's pair! I have super sensitive eyes, and though I know it varies from person to person, I'd suggest these for those who still can't find a contact that won't bug their eyes.

I just can't wear Night and Day lens
from Chickamaug, GA
I have tried the Night and Day lens twice now because I know they are suppose to let more oxygen in. I just can't wear them. They make my eyes hurt and are very uncomfortable when I first wake up. They get cloudy and feel like a film forms on them. I will go back to Acuvue Oasis.

Worst Contacts Ever Worn
By Very Disappointed
from Washington DC
I used Acuvue contacts for years and switched to the Air Optix because I worked long hours and always had my contacts in. From the very first day I put the Air Optix in I had nothing but problems. They were extremely irritating to my eyes. Very uncomfortable to wear. My eyes would get real foggy and I couldn't see anything. Regardless of how many drops I put in my eyes the fog never went away. They made my eyes sting and were very aggravating. I replaced them several times thinking it may have just been that pair, but they all did the same thing. It got so bad I just stopped wearing them and started wearing my glasses again until I was able to go back and get a prescription for a new brand of contacts. I went back to Acuvue and have not had any more problems, my eyes feel great.

I wear my contacts ALL DAY EVERYDAY but I don't sleep in them.. These are actually comfortable enough for me to wear them more than one month at a time. As I said before I love ordering from coastal. have been using them for two years and have never had a problem. Thanks coastal!
