Acceptable Use Terms and Conditions |
Coastal Training Technologies ® Corp. ("Coastal") hereby grants the use of Coastal Products to paying Customers, subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Coastal retains ownership of all copyright and trademark registrations, unless otherwise indicated on the Product.
- Products are sold or rented for use by Customer for the purpose of training Customer’s employees or clients.
- Under no circumstances may Products be duplicated, copied, or altered by those using or viewing the materials, unless Customer has received written permission from Coastal. Under no circumstances shall Customer sell, resell, give, lease, loan, duplicate, or otherwise distribute the Products at any time, now or in the future. Further, Customer shall be held responsible for Customer’s employees who violate Coastal’s copyright or trademark registrations.
- Products purchased as digital files are sold with specific licensing terms, which will vary from item to item. See your Coastal invoice for the specific licensing terms for each Product purchased. All rights of usage cease upon the expiration of those terms, and no additional rights are permitted unless a license is renewed.
- Products may not be broadcast, streamed, installed on closed-circuit systems, or displayed via other means of distribution, unless so permitted by the licensing terms; this applies to both analog and digital Product formats. Products for which permission is given to stream or make available across a network must be served from behind Customer’s firewall and be accessible only from Customer’s network or intranet, unless other permission is given by Coastal in writing.
- At the end of the licensing term for digital Products, Customer may renew the licensing, purchase a different license, or discontinue use of and destroy the Product.
- Products include various copyright and trademark registration marks and statements. Any attempt by Customer to hide or remove such notices is a violation of these conditions and would result in cancellation of all rights of use for the Products affected.
- Fees for Products must be paid before any rights of use are permitted. Payment for and use of Coastal products are considered acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Warranty disclaimer: Coastal will replace any Product found by Customer to be defective upon receipt. However, the Products are provided to Customer without warranty of any kind, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- No other use of the Products is intended, implied, permitted, or conferred by this document.
