Comments about Hickey Freeman Hampton Grey Stripe:

I love these frames, and I'd recommend them to anybody. Aside from the fact that my nose hits above where the nose pieces are and that makes it uncomfortable after all-day use, these are my most favorite pair ever. The sizing-issue was my fault, not the frames. I got these on the first pair free deal and I cannot complain a bit. These were designated as backup glasses until I wore them the first time. STILL haven't worn my old pair since. Very fashionable frames.
-Definitely not as flimsy as some more expensive frames I've tried, but not quite as strengthy as my old pair. I wouldn't recommend these for the super-athletic sport enthusiasts. I'd be concerned for their safety if I wore these while riding a Norwegian battle bear down the rocky slides of some jagged Brazilian mountaintop. At that point you wouldn't even need glasses because you'd already have CYBER-EYES.
Another thing: The color is exactly if not slightly darker than the pictures on this site. Don't worry about it being 'too light', because it isn't. It's not black either. It's dark grey. But aside, I've gotten a lot of good comments on them.

Comments about Hickey Freeman Hampton Grey Stripe:

I picked this pair of glasses because they were similar to a like-styled Persol which didn't have a gray color available.

I really like the overall thinness of the frames around the lenses, the (thin) gunmetal finished sides, and especially the fact that these are both acetate and metal so they're the right amount of attention grabbing while staying very unique. Another plus, no nose pads on the bridge [to break].

I'm 25. This is my first pair of glasses ever, and my sight's not too terrible. When i first put these on, it was kind of weird and I had to question my rx accuracy... but the fact that my eyes adjusted in about a minute probably means that my rx and these glasses are appropriate. I'm definitely still getting used to them.

The anti-glare treatment's good, at least out of the box.
