I like the size of the frames and the grey colour, but I hate the math symbols. They'd probably be cute on a eleven-year-old, but not so much on a 24-year-old professional. It's unfortunate that Derek Cardigan has so many nice frames that are completely ridiculous because of the math symbols. I would not have gotten these if they were not free.

I ordered these in Smoke and the Derek Cardigan 7012 in Birch to have two light colored frames for Summer. These 7008's are AWESOME. The color is perfect, it's not as dark as it seems here, and rather a light translucent gray that matches with everything. I am very pleased, especially since I got these with my First Pair Free, you can't beat it.They go with everything, very comfortable and perfect for every day use.

Great customer service ever. I realized I asked for the wrong prescription that's why I couldn't see anything, of course it was my fault. I called for help and they placed another order for me right away. They also sent me the return shipping label so it didn't cost me anything for returning. Coastal is awesome because the next day I changed my mind, I wanted to upgrade my glasses to the thin air lenses. I called them back but my order was already shipped. I was ok with it but they said they could order me another one with whatever I like till im happy.They will charge me for the shipping fee but as long as I send the one that I didn't like back to them, they will return the money to me. How awesome is that? Finally I got the perfect pair and I'm so so happy. I can't stop myself from purchasing more glasses from Coastal. I highly recommend Coastal to everyone.

I am really enjoying these glasses. As other reviewers have said, I really wish that they didn't have the math symbols on the front, but for a free pair of glasses...I will take it. I love the Smoke color, it goes with everything I wear.
I have a big head, short face, and big eyes apparently, because I was having a really hard time finding glasses that were big enough for me to see through, and reach my ears, without dwarfing my face.
These glasses do the trick. They are kind of heavy for me. Being my first pair of glasses I hope to get used to it more and more. I did not opt for the light lenses, and now I wish I did. I have to take them off through the day to give my nose a rest.
I think next time I order from Coastal.com I will opt for the lighter lenses, especially because I am going to stick with the larger glasses. Otherwise, great!

I really like these glasses. They are oversized, funky, and I love the quirky math symbols. For anyone concerned that they make the frames seem too immature, most people don't even notice them until I point them out. The smoke color is definitely darker than is shown online, but that is OKAY by me, since I prefer darker frames, and originally wanted black (unfortunately it was sold out at the time). I'm very pale, and the smoke is actually less harsh against my skin than black would be, so it all worked out in the end!
