I am a law student who has to look professional during the day, but I also enjoy more trendy outfits outside of work. The "first pair free" promotion let me try out a riskier pair of glasses. If I didn't love them, it wouldn't have mattered because I only paid for shipping. As it turns out, I LOVE these frames. I honestly think they're a little bigger than what I had anticipated but they're durable, the color is perfect, and they're stylish.

I am always on the lookout for frames that suit my style. I thought these would be great. I ordered the Derek Cardigan 7008's in Birch, and they came and were awful! They were worse than a pair of glasses my mom would have worn in the 80's. Thick frames, translucent plastic in a peachy-pinky color. I put them on my face once before they went back in the box and got taped back up. However, I have a small face, so I think that frames that aren't so thick are better on me than these would be.

I've been wearing glasses for over 10 years, and I have never received more compliments than I have with these glasses. The color is different, and not too trendy, and the shape fits my round face perfectly. Head's up - the color is a little more brown then in the picture.

I thought these would be big after comparing other frames on Coastal.com's website. Surprisingly, they fit perfectly on my round face. They are neither big nor small, but just right. They look and feel like high quality & they are very comfortable. I don't think there will be a day that I won't wear them. In my opinion, I think Birch is the best color out of the 4 provided because it's a very natural color and can go with any skin tone. Darker colored frames tends to make a majority of people look a lot older than they are which is why I chose Birch. For some reason, it looks a bit pink in the sunlight/room light. Better for me since I love pink!

I ordered these for a fun second pair of glasses, but I think I will be wearing them every day! They are comfortable and casual, but would dress up fine as well. They were a little loose on me, but I had them adjusted and now they fit great. I can not believe I got such a nice pair of glasses, case, cleaner, cloth and screwdriver for FREE! They arrived in just 4 days!! I would pay regular price for these and will order again soon.

Overall, I am very pleased with these frames and my experience with coastal.com. I had originally ordered a larger-sized frame (7004) and after looking at the reviews and sizes of the 7004 vs 7008, I quickly called customer service to change my order. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and quickly/easily made the change.
I was very excited to recieve these glasses in the mail. The frames were exactly what I was hoping for. The size was perfect, slightly oversized but not obnoxiously huge. The color was true to the photos, which I love: a neutral pinkish-tan with a hint of vintage (similar to some crazy, oversized glasses my mom had in the 80s).
Also, the glasses were delivered in less than two weeks from the time I placed the order. The best part of this whole deal: I only had to pay for shipping and handling using the 'new customers receive their first pair free' promotion.
