buy these if you can get them with a promo or discount.. first pair, hinges were a little loose, and the glasses are noticeably heavy. at the same time they do fit and feel comfortable on the face which is suprising. granted i wear contacts half the time. my lenses where -4 and 1.67 index so must be the metal frame and shape adding the weight to it.
bottom line, yes worth having but not worthing spending full price, not sure how the weight of the glasses will feel like after all day use, i could image worse, considering i have light glasses now and they get uncomfortable by days end.

This is my second pair of glasses with LTEDE frames from Coastal and I love them (both!). These are slightly heavier than the other pair. I have a weaker progressive prescription within the -3 to +3 range recommended for the standard lenses so didn't order the lighter lenses. I wonder if the reviewers who think they are heavy are really complaining that their lenses make the glasses seem heavy. These frames have the spring bows that do not put any pressure on my head or behind my ears. I can wear them for hours. I wasn't sure about the color thinking it would might be a gray tone but it is actually a nice brown about the same color as my hair and looks great. My son (age 23) says they look really sharp and professional. This is important as I work in medical and legal environments. I am very happy with this pair of glasses.

The service is very fast, ordered on the weekend and I received them in 3 days. Everything about the entire process was smooth. They update you very quickly on your order status. The best part was when I put the glasses on and the fit was seamless, very light and they have an effortless fit that I've never experience with any in store glasses. If I close my eyes I can not detect I even have glasses on...that perfect. There's no friction or weightiness so I am very very unexpectedly satisfied. I will definitely be returning in the future for more glasses.

This was my first order with Coastal.com and I have to say I was worried about ordering glasses on the web. I got them today, put them on and I can see with no problems. I watched TV, no problems, I read a few lines with no problems. So I am very happy with my new glasses. They are stylish and comfortable enough to wear for hours. Even now working on the computer I am having no problems. Ordering on line saved me so much time and money (I saved $200 dollars) more money in my pocket right now is important to me. The first pair free is what sold me to Coastal.com. So now I can come back and order the prescription sunglasses that I want. Thank you for offering quality glasses at a half the cost of other retailers.

I'll admit, this was my first time doing any kind of order from a website for eye wear. Truth be told, I have a huge head (yeah, I've come to terms with my huge melon), so I was a little uncomfortable ordering from an online store because I worry about the item not being true to size. I found these and they looked both professional and trendy (keep in mind I deal with clients all day, so I want to look my best).
Simply put: The glasses are amazing! The frames are just the right size and look great. I ordered the standard lenses and they are crystal clear. I have a difficult astigmatism that is hard to correct, but for the first time, I can see 100% because the quality of Coastal.com's "standard" lenses are the "gold package" of most other lens stores.
I've seen a few reviews saying the frames are "heavy". I'm not sure what they are talking about because they feel great to me. Get them if you are looking for a trendy/professional look.

At first, when I had finished checkout and ordering, I had a slight sense of regret, thinking I had made an impulsive decision in buying these frames so quickly; but ever since the glasses came in this morning, all sense of regret completely diminished! The frames have exceeded my expecations. They're very comfortable and quite flexible, considering they're metal frames. I was also quite skeptical due to the fact that I've never worn Semi-Rimless frames before, but they look fantastic; they have a more "mature" look to them versus the full-frame glasses. One thing I would like to mention, although it may seem like a con, it definitely isn't; they seem fragile, so I don't think they'd be good for outdoor activities, such as hiking or jogging. But, then again, aren't all glasses considered fragile? And in regards to all others who claim the frames to feel "heavy," I disagree, they are incredibly comfortable and the weight of them don't even cross my mind.

This was my first Coastal order and I was nervous. Order arrived next day, earlier than promised. Glasses are really good looking, and I don't find them heavy at all. They are comfortable and durable, are are nicer than I was expecting. Came with a nice hard case and cleaning cloth. I definitely plan to order more from Coastal.
