Loving my new eyes!

Comments about Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism:
I recently got contacts for the first time after wearing glasses for awhile and getting sick of them. At first I was given the SofLens torics which were absolutely awful in almost every way. They were uncomfortable and dried by eyes out and constantly moved around so my vision was blurry. When I went back for my check, I told my doctor this, and he said he was going to have me try the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism.As soon as I put these in, I was impressed. The comfort level was amazing, and within minutes I had completely forgotten that they were in because I couldn't feel them. I wore them for 10 hours the first day which was amazing as I couldn't wear my previous lenses for more than 6 hours. My eyes no longer feel dry or feel like there is anything in them, my vision is crisp and clear and these contacts don't rotate (I really do believe in the "blink stabilization" the brand boasts).These contacts are easy to work with, even for a new user, although they do tend to fold up which can be annoying. But once they're in, they're in, and they're super comfortable. I highly recommend these to anyone with astigmatism looking for comfortable lenses than can be used for extended wear. I haven't yet worn them overnight, but I have taken naps in them with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

I've warn contacts for 30 years

Comfort and clear vision from 5 am to 8 or 9 pm. Seriously, I often forget they are there. Best I've had over my 30 years using contacts. Comfort despite the dry climate here.

These contacts are the best that I have ever tried. They do not shift - like other brands that I've tested. And, they do not stick to your eye, such as another popular brand that I tested. I have astig and can see extremely clear with these lenses - and sometimes even forget I have them in.

Most comfortable lens I've ever worn

I have a horrible Astigmatism in both of my eyes to the point that I'm not even a candidate for lasix surgery. I have worn a variety of contact lenses over the past 20 years, but have never really been satisfied with the overall wear of any of them. For the past year I finally gave up and just wore my glasses. Well, I finally went to my doc and he found these Accuvue Oasys lenses for me. I wore my trial pair for a week and was astonished at how comfortable they were. The script was great even for my horrible eyes, and the main thing that made me fall in love with these are that I was not constantly adjusting them on my eye. With all other lenses they would forever slip out of focus, and I would be always sticking my fingers in my eyes to rotate the lens to where it was supposed to be. With these lenses I never have to do that. They stay put! I would recommend trying these to anyone who has been tortured in the past with lenses that move and always need adjusting. I am extremely happy! Four stars :)

No more dry eyes!

I really like these contacts; they're so much more comfortable than my old brand. However, when I first switched, I noticed an odd side effect - I kept yawning. Eventually (after about a week) that dissipated, but I couldn't find any other correlation that would explain the yawning besides the contacts. Correlation or causation; I don't know, but for how much more comfortable my eyes are now than before, I would have to say it was worth it.

Very comfortable contacts

I wear my contacts during the day and take them out at night; but, I have worn them a few times all day and they were still just as comfortable and didn't get so dried out.
