Comments about Acuvue Contact Lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism:

I've been wearing contact lenses (always and only Acuvue) for over 10 years, but had substantial astigmatism only in the right eye for the past few years. I got finally frustrated with blurriness and decided to try a lens for astigmatism.

After getting upset with my optometrist who wanted another $50 for the astigmatism lens fitting, on the top of the $150 eye exam, I just ordered a 'try box' of OD power -3.00, BC 8.6, Dia 14.5, Cylinder -0.75, Axis 170. I figured since this brand has served me for over a decade, since BC and Dia are fixed (and marginally different from the Hydraclear design), and since they are the only brand with quadruple/top&bottom balance 'technology, I have little to lose.

I love the lens. It is light, comfy, and I can finally see clearly. The eye gets dryer at the end of the day like with ALL lenses (not more no less). If the lens shifts and I start to se blurry, all you have to do is blink a few times and it repositions itself. When you hold the lens up. you'll see two lines (they will look like a scratch at first ;=); insert the lens so the lines face north and south (not east/west).

Comments about Acuvue Contact Lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism:

These have been the only lens that does not rotate on my eyes. I love them! I have tried so many brands of contacts over the years and was afraid I would be stuck with a lens that didn't rotate much but always rotated. Then my Eye Dr. said he had one more he liked and I am soooooo glad I tried it! It is perfect! Comfortable as well and I I have dry eyes.
        Will never change again!

Comments about Acuvue Contact Lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism:

I need two different prescrips one for each eye. I need -10 sphere which isn't available. I can only find that with air optix which I find extremely uncomfortable, drying and short term wear time on the monthly's.

I wear this brand in left eye and find them so comfy, long day wearability and clear. So I sure would like to be able to buy them for my right eye but can't because they only go up to -9 sphere. :(

Comments about Acuvue Contact Lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism:

I have worn lenses since high school, and have never fully found lenses that I could put in my eyes and forget about. I was always dealing with dry outs, uncomfortable lenses after a few hours, and my biggest peave... lens rotation. I have a pretty significant astigmatism, and constantly having to stick my fingers in my eyes to focus my lenses drove me insane. But with these contacts I'm happy to report after using them for about a year now they are ideal for us stigmatized eye folks lol. I can wear them and forget about them for a good 8-10 hours before they start to remind me they're there. So I can assuredly recommended them for all who understand what I mean about the rotation curse. :-)

Comments about Acuvue Contact Lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism:

I recently got contacts for the first time after wearing glasses for awhile and getting sick of them. At first I was given the SofLens torics which were absolutely awful in almost every way. They were uncomfortable and dried by eyes out and constantly moved around so my vision was blurry. When I went back for my check, I told my doctor this, and he said he was going to have me try the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism.

As soon as I put these in, I was impressed. The comfort level was amazing, and within minutes I had completely forgotten that they were in because I couldn't feel them. I wore them for 10 hours the first day which was amazing as I couldn't wear my previous lenses for more than 6 hours. My eyes no longer feel dry or feel like there is anything in them, my vision is crisp and clear and these contacts don't rotate (I really do believe in the "blink stabilization" the brand boasts).

These contacts are easy to work with, even for a new user, although they do tend to fold up which can be annoying. But once they're in, they're in, and they're super comfortable. I highly recommend these to anyone with astigmatism looking for comfortable lenses than can be used for extended wear. I haven't yet worn them overnight, but I have taken naps in them with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

These contacts are the best that I have ever tried. They do not shift - like other brands that I've tested. And, they do not stick to your eye, such as another popular brand that I tested. I have astig and can see extremely clear with these lenses - and sometimes even forget I have them in.

Comments about Acuvue Contact Lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism:

I have a horrible Astigmatism in both of my eyes to the point that I'm not even a candidate for lasix surgery. I have worn a variety of contact lenses over the past 20 years, but have never really been satisfied with the overall wear of any of them. For the past year I finally gave up and just wore my glasses. Well, I finally went to my doc and he found these Accuvue Oasys lenses for me. I wore my trial pair for a week and was astonished at how comfortable they were. The script was great even for my horrible eyes, and the main thing that made me fall in love with these are that I was not constantly adjusting them on my eye. With all other lenses they would forever slip out of focus, and I would be always sticking my fingers in my eyes to rotate the lens to where it was supposed to be. With these lenses I never have to do that. They stay put! I would recommend trying these to anyone who has been tortured in the past with lenses that move and always need adjusting. I am extremely happy! Four stars :)
